About Us

Possessing a combined forty-five years of metal fabrication experience, Harry Heitkamp and Gene Niekamp incorporated Dynamic Weld in 1981. Originally operating in a 1,200 square foot building, the majority of Dynamic Weld’s business was provided by local farmers and manufacturing companies. Dynamic Weld would grow to become a key supplier to global companies such as General Motors, Honda and International Truck.

In 1985, Dynamic Weld found its niche` in the metal fabrication industry when Honda of America built its first facility in Ohio. Dynamic Weld began designing, prototyping and mass producing custom material handling and returnable shipping containers for each of Honda’s plants.

Dynamic Weld grew as more automotive companies were added to its list of customers. In 1991 a 20,000 square foot building was constructed to house the prefabrication and welding departments. This enabled the company to complete larger projects and shorten delivery lead times.

Throughout this growth Dynamic Weld continued to provide their customers with superior quality and delivery at a minimal cost. In 1997 a second building was needed. A 20,000 square foot building with two loading docks was constructed to house a new electrostatic paint system and assembly area.

Dynamic Weld currently has 50,000 square feet under roof and the company has additional land for future expansions.

Dynamic Weld is large enough to handle the largest projects while still giving you the individual help and attention that your smaller projects deserve….no project is too big or too small!

Engineering Excellence is the key to cost effective shipping containers. Dynamic Weld can use 3D Catia data to develop your container eliminating the need for multiple prototypes and prototype reviews. Save money with a virtual packaging review!
